Railway Ministry's SuperApp Launch
The Railway Ministry has introduced a new application called SuperApp, designed to be a comprehensive solution for multiple railway-related services.
Testing Phase
- Initially available for 1,000 users on the Google Play Store to gather preliminary feedback.
- Plans to expand availability to 10,000 users for further suggestions and comments based on initial response.
Features and Services
- Reservation Services: Facilitates both reserved and unreserved ticket bookings.
- Additional Bookings: Includes platform and parcel bookings.
- Information Services: Offers train inquiries and PNR inquiries.
- Customer Support: Provides help through the RailMadad service.
Application Objective
- Focused on enhancing the user experience with a seamless and clean user interface.
- Integrates various services to deliver a comprehensive package of Indian Railway services.
Development and Release
- The app is developed by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) on behalf of the Ministry of Railways.
- Released for beta testing to the public on 31-01-2025.
- Available for download from the Play Store/App Store as shared by CRIS.
