These countries are recognized for their important companies and investors that support the global AI supply chain.
India's Position
Despite being part of the Quad critical minerals initiative and having a critical technology partnership with the US, India is not part of Pax Silica.
- India, the US, and South Korea had previously formed a critical technology partnership that did not advance under the Trump administration.
- India is developing bilateral critical technology partnerships with the UAE, Singapore, and Japan, among others.
Experts suggest that India's exclusion is due to its lack of critical edge technology and absence of critical mineral repositories.
