Operation Sindoor and Indigenous Capability
Operation Sindoor showcased India's capability to use indigenous resources, reinforcing the government's push for Aatmanirbharta in defense. The focus is on innovation from start-ups and MSMEs to complement larger defense public sector undertakings.

Industry Collaboration and Strategic Goals
- Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Command, urged for close collaboration between the industry and the armed forces to meet evolving operational needs.

North Tech Symposium 2026
The three-day event, themed “Raksha Triveni Sangam – Where Technology, Industry & Soldiering Converge,” was organized by the Indian Army’s Northern and Central Commands along with the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers. It marked significant collaboration between the armed forces and the private sector, featuring senior military leaders, industry stakeholders, MSMEs, and innovators.
