Advisory for Travellers to India

Postponement of Summits

In light of the outbreak, India has postponed key summits:

  • Aimed to strengthen the India-Africa partnership and discuss cooperation across diverse sectors.
  • New dates will be decided through mutual consultations.

International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA) Summit

  • Initially set for June 1-2 in New Delhi, the summit has been postponed to ensure participation from all range countries, including African nations.
  • The summit focuses on conservation and ecological sustainability efforts for big cats.

India's Commitment to Africa

India reaffirms solidarity and readiness to support Africa CDC's efforts in addressing the health situation, underlining a shared commitment to an Africa-led response.

Currently, there are no reported Ebola cases in India.
