Both countries launched the Roadmap to 2030 which provides a strategic roadmap to guide structured implementation of the India–New Zealand Strategic Partnership for the next four years.

Key Outcomes of India PM visit to New Zealand
- Bilateral Trade: Both sides have set a target to double bilateral trade to NZ$7 billion (₹35,000 crore) by 2030 to boost economic ties and expand market access.
- Maritime Security: New Zealand nominates Maritime Security as priority pillar under the Indo-Pacific Oceans Initiative (IPOI).
- IPOI launched by India is a non-treaty-based voluntary arrangement that promotes cooperation for a free and open Indo-Pacific and the rules-based regional order.
- Sustainable biofuels: New Zealand’s joined the Global Biofuels Alliance (GBA).
- GBA, launched by India in 2023, unites the world’s largest producers and consumers (including the US, Brazil, and India) to expedite global biofuel adoption.
- Agriculture: Under the Agricultural Productivity Partnership under FTA, a Kiwifruit Action Plan is being launched along with the establishment of two Centres of Excellence in Nagaland and Uttarakhand.
- Sports: Launched India-New Zealand Joint Action Plan on Sport, a framework for collaboration in sports, including high-performance sport, sports science, sports medicine and athlete development.
