- P4M is a middle-power-led, flexible platform to defend and reform multilateralism at a time of growing polarisation and power politics.

- Support reform of the United Nations and other multilateral institutions to make them more representative, legitimate, effective and trusted.
- Uphold international law, sovereign equality, territorial integrity, peaceful settlement of disputes, and the prohibition of the threat or use of force.
- Focuses on practical cooperation across divides rather than polarisation.
- It aims to address shared challenges i.e. climate change, artificial intelligence, health security, digital transformation, supply-chain resilience and development finance.
